Category one UNI Awards
The candidate must be a Nigerian
The candidate must be a current student in any of the Nigerian tertiary institutions
The candidate must be studying any of engineering, sciences or technology courses.
Category two UNI Awards
The candidate must be a Nigerian
The candidate must be a professional who has received a degree or diploma in any of engineering, sciences or technology courses.
The candidate must be resident in Nigeria.
UNIBEN Category
Students in accredited Nigerian universities (public or private)
Apply individually or as a team (maximum 5 members)
Projects must be STEM driven and original
Late submissions will not be accepted.
Submission must be uploaded via the official website
Project Proposal (max 5 pages)
Supporting documents (Power point, Prototype demo, or Video pitch)

Evaluates the originality, feasibility, and impact of the project.
Potential to solve real world problems.
Demonstrates the practicality and implementability of the solution.
Ability to scale and be adopted by a large number of users.

50% Immediate cash to awardee and 50% to their institutions, particularly their departments to improve their science, engineering and technology equipment.
50% Immediate cash and 50% spread over two years as he/she continues to research on his/her product.
The Daddy Go Competition is a national STEM innovation challenge for Nigerian university students to develop solutions that address real-world problems in Nigeria.
Currently enrolled students in accredited Nigerian universities can participate individually or as teams of 2-5 members.
Submissions must include a project proposal (max 5 pages) and supporting documents such as PowerPoint presentations, prototype demos, or video pitches.
Projects are evaluated based on innovation, impact, feasibility, scalability, and presentation quality.
Winners receive cash prizes, mentorship opportunities, and potential funding for project development.
